The Story of the "Land of the
Wild Things" goes as follows:
When Max left the island at the end of the book he was pretty
content. However, every once in awhile he would get bored at school
or at home and visit the Wild Things. He told his friends about
his adventures but they could not seem to enter the world that
Max had made.
Since the island had brought so much
joy to Max he decided to take the ideas from his travels and write
them down for future use. He wrote them down and formed the blueprints
that would soon become "Land of the Wild Things." As
Max grew older he was able to make more trips to his precious,
secret island. He was unable to successfully transport the Wild
Things off the island because his sailboat couldn't support the
weight of a single one. Reluctantly he was forced to use common
materials to construct his island.
Little by little Max began constructing
an island of his own off the coast of Orlando. Using only his
vast imagination to guide him. The theme park is home to tons
of rides for the whole family, an entertainment Center, Retailtainment
Zone, Playground, and much more.
Upon completetion of the theme park Max disappeared. Some say
he appears in the enchanted forest dancing with his Wild Things.
Other people say he went back to the island in his own mind. Come
to the "Land of the Wild Things" and maybe you'll find
him amid the adventure.
